Advertising and promotions are gradually becoming integral to a brand’s image. You really can’t define the integrity and credibility of the brand without watching out for its promotion. As a brand you need to be aware of how well you position yourself and ensure that you have some ready promotions to attract your consumers. What works with the consumers, as far as branding strategies are concerned, is most important to the company and brand’s image.


These days advertising on TV means spending a lot of money, which is not really possible for small organizations. If you are a start up branding on TV or elsewhere would cost you a dime which is really a bit too much for you. So, do you refrain from any branding ideas? Well, not really! You can do something that will ensure perfect branding for your organization. You can make some promotional goodies and send it across your target audience and gain your credibility.

What kind of promotional products should you aim at? Let’s say you are a start up and have just posted a few sales letters to your target consumers announcing your arrival in the market. How about including some sales promotional product that would make your consumers happy on receiving? This is actually called a sales kit! You can have a nice promotional product such as a pen or probably a customized book mark that they can keep and use along the way. What happens when you do that? Well, firstly you will have a presence in their everyday life. Second, if the need for some product that you produce arises, they may just contact you as yours would be the first name to come to their mind. Third, you will enjoy good brand recognition from your consumers. If that’s not all you will also get conversions and good ROI! This strategy works well especially when you are just starting up.

Is it confined to start ups alone? Well, that’s not true! Even when you are an established brand, business promotional items provide you with the necessary brand recognition that you have been starving for. Let’s say you are an established brand that has quite a few established and loyal consumers. At this point in time, you will find that it is very important for you as a brand to retain these loyal consumers. For this you need to provide them with an incentive, say a loyalty incentive. One such method that most brands have is the loyalty reward points. But, that’s not all for businesses, especially the ones not in retail. So, how do you promise incentive? You give them a promotional item that will keep them happy and assure them that the brand watches out for loyalty. You can send them a customized mug in case of a year’s loyalty and in case it is more than a year, you can actually send them a customized bag, box etc.

Promotional items are great way to mark conversions as well as to thank loyalty that you consumers have been showering on you.
